Accomplishments to date... 55 Schools Built 34,330 Children Helped 337,450 Community Members Benefited The generous support of people like YOU has made these numbers a reality. This last month we visited our recently completed schools located in earthquake-affected areas of Peru. |
The festivities began as HHF joined AFP Integra president Jorge Ramos and Ofelia Rodriguez Larrain with their team at the grand opening of the Maria Auxiliadora School in Ica Peru. With the help of Architecture for Humanity, this school was built through the generous support of Gerry Cardinale, Enrico Gaglioti, Tim Ingrassia, Jeffrey Nedelman, Dina Powell and the Goldman Sachs Foundation. The wonderful students, their families, and the faculty arranged a special celebration that included music, dance, and special food. "The community is very proud of their new school and feel that it not only looks very nice and welcoming, but that it serves as an inspiration that is full of promises of hope for their children", said Diego Collazos of Architecture for Humanity.
