CHARITY: 11 in 11 - Happy Hearts Fund!

As we embark on a new year full of hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow, we'd like to share the accomplishments of 2011 that were made possible through your incredible support. Please enjoy our 2011 yearbook, highlighting the 10 schools and the library and arts center that were built in five countries this past year, reaching over 1,130 children!

Pelita Hati Kindergarten, Indonesia, 146 children "We are all so happy that we met Happy Hearts Fund. We are so grateful and we think they are wonderful people for being so kind to us and giving us this wonderful school. Thank you!" - Ms. Rosmini, head teacher   Al Munawar Kindergarten, Indonesia, 92 children "Our children are so happy they now have a wonderful new kindergarten. Our school is so much better than before, it is very wonderful. We are so thankful to Happy Hearts and their donors for caring about our children." - Ms. Ayi Ahmad, head teacher    Maria Auxiliadora Calderones Elementary, Peru, 71 children "We are really happy about the new school as now we have appropriate classrooms to teach our children after working in temporary modules for almost four years; the new classrooms were built in a very efficient way and the structure is earthquake resistant. We are also very grateful (to the JV) as the children were involved in educational activities such as: art, photography, reading programs, etc." - Ms. Doria Cloria Rosas, head teacher   Al Mutaquin Kindergarten, Indonesia, 73 children "We would like to say a HUGE thank you to our donors who have been so kind and helped us with our school. Our children were really suffering for a long time after they lost their old school and now they are able to study again in this fabulous new facility. All the teachers, parents & children pray for you all and will be forever grateful." - Ms. Sahidin, head teacher     Margarita Maza de Juarez Elementary, Mexico, 68 children "In this day the dream parents, students, teachers and the whole community share in general becomes true, because thanks to this infrastructure, education will be the center that will give life to this community. The teachings that will take place here will be of great value to our students that from now on will receive their education in a better environment, teachers will have better facilities to develop their activities and the school will show a new and modern face to students that enroll for the first time. We give our most sincere gratitude to ING and Happy Hearts Fund for their perseverance, willingness, dedication and effort to relocate this school. Our children love their school and so do the parents. This new school has changed all of our lives forever. Thank you from us all." - Ms. Kusri Nurbani, head teacher     Wat Pattikaram Library and Arts Center, Thailand, 122 children "I really appreciate Happy Hearts Fund who supports this school with personnel tools and building. And now we have the library for our students to look for more knowledge and also a projector to help teachers to teach the kids in a better way. I sincerely Thank You." - Ms. Isabel Huamani, head teacher    Francisco Perez Anampa Elementary, Peru, 160 children The new school is very nice and some people even think it is a private school! After the earthquake we struggled in getting support form the government for the reconstruction of the school. Luckily for us Happy Hearts (JV) supported us and now we have a school that will resist eventual earthquakes. The children are happy and enjoy the new school and the computer lab." - Ms. Isabel Huamani, head teacher  L'Ecole Nouvelle Zoranje Kindergarten, Haiti, 101 children "The children and staff of Happy Hearts kindergarten in Ecole Nouvelle Zoranje smile even more then last year thanks to your generous support. These shining little eyes are evidence to their 'Happy Hearts' - their smile every morning is  inspiration and hope for us all, that it is possible to have a better tomorrow. Thank you!" - Inbal Timor, Prodev Haiti   Hikmatul Hayat Kindergarten, Indonesia, 140 children "Thank you so much for helping us, we loved meeting you and our children are now so happy with their new school. Happy Christmas to you in America." - Ms. Anjang Arif, head teacher   Al-Jami'ah Bina Mulia Kindergarten, Indonesia, 100 children "Thank you to all of you who have changed our lives. Our school is the heart of our community and all the parents and families are so happy.
