MUSIC: ROGER WATERS - Pink Floyd's THE WALL - Nov 13 & 14, 2010

Saturday nights show was quite the spectacle, like an acid trip flashback for some people..... The visual effects were second to none. Amazing what a creative mind and top of the line technology can do... The show started off with a BANG! Gleaming lights and animations projected on the massive stage WALL. Digitally projected bricks floated into the darkness along with the removing and replacing of bricks from behind the wall, psychedelic illusions! There were animations and digital flicks of THE WALL characters disappearing into the next rendition of effects... three dimensional effects without the need for 3D glasses. Wonder what it must have been like for those on hallucinogens.... brave souls. The Bank Atlantic arena (Miami, FL) was jammed packed, SOLD OUT!, devoured by flashing lights as Roger Waters lifted us all with his overwhelmingly powerful vocals. The audience screamed "Run! Run! Run!"... Then the next series of animations and a familiar concentrated scent of cannabis in the air... ... "Hello?.... is there anybody in there?... just nod if you can hear me... is there anyone home?"... ROGER WATERS.... "relax...relax..." and so on... The audience screamed... "I..... I.... I.... have become comfortably numb.....". If a play by play song performance could be given I would certainly write about it... a true PINK FLOYD fan won't have any recollection of the order... consumed by the show, floating WALL characters and pounding sound "BOM BOM... BOM BOM..." in cue with marching hammers and aircraft bombers.... TRUE fans, you must see this! Keep a look out for the next tour. You can never go wrong with PINK FLOYD!

MUSIC IS POWER! healing tools...

Forever, a Fan.

  1. Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense A THEFT from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed.
