Two students from each class act as the "leaders" of the students in their class during library hours as they teach their classmates about book care and library skills. In addition, the director of the school has opened the door for students at nearby schools to have the opportunity to benefit from the library too.
Many of the children recently gathered together to attend a special seminar on disaster education and have the ongoing opportunity to learn from resources that were provided by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC).
The Creative Arts room has been equipped with drawing and painting materials. This special room is dedicated to the instruction and practice of the creative arts, including: photography, drawing, and small handicraft making.
The schools talented creative arts teacher instills creativity in the children as they learn to express their thoughts and develop their inner feelings through creative exercises.
Families in the surrounding community are excited to know that the new facility will provide an even greater opportunity for their children to learn and grow to become tomorrow's leaders.
