People and things go by every day
Getting unnoticed
One of the things people want
Is to be recognized
For the things they do
For the things they say
What happens when they don’t
They crave the attention of others
And go through extremes just
To get somewhere in life
To be someone Every day people wonder
If when they pass away
They will be noticed
In reality most people are not
So why do we care so much
About being on the top
Of the list
Will it really make a difference
Do we have to be in history books
All over the world
Is it right for us to be selfish
And want all the attention for our own
The murders, suicides, robberies, Rehab stays, DUI’s, 911’s
All these acts just to
Get something that fades away
You will never get all the attention In the world
No one will
Get over it
